Darryl Martinez, Construction Company Owner

Darryl Martinez has over 11 years of construction experience. He began his career in construction on Roatan by working with one of the leading builders on the island. Darryl attended private bilingual schools both on Roatan and on the mainland of Honduras. He studied business administration for two and a half years at a private university in San Pedro, Universidad de San Pedro Sula.

Darryl loves craftsmanship and working with his hands. He also enjoys water sports. He built power boats for 6 years and still enjoys boating around this beautiful Caribbean island when he has time.

Darryl knows Roatan, its culture, and its business climate. Honduras is his native country. He is a fully bilingual, having a mother of English heritage and a father of Spanish heritage. Being bilingual is very important for builders on Roatan since they deal with Spanish speaking businessmen and government officials and with English speaking customers.

The people who are most successful in business are the people who truly enjoy what they do. Darryl Martinez truly enjoys building. He enjoys all aspects of construction, but especially enjoys seeing what he has accomplished when the building project is complete.
